Sidor the largest steelmaker in Venezuela said that it has resumed its steelmaking operation on last Thursday.

It's learned that the steelmaking operations were suspended for 34 days due to a workers strike started on November 14th. The worker union Sutiss urged Sidor to make good on past-due payments and improve benefits.

At present, the employees have returned to work although the both parties didn't reach any agreements.

Meanwhile, Sidor said that the entire mill has been resumed.
